A Contradiction. Sir, A paragraph in your issue of the 9th inst.[April], states that a company from St. John’s, Ranmoor, Sheffield, Yorks., rang a 720 of Bob Minor on the 27th March, and that this was the first 720 in the method on the above bells. I beg to contradict this as a company of the Norton Society visited the above church and rang the 720 mentioned on the 18th November, 1883. You will find the same in your issue of December 1st, 1883.
