A touch rung on losing a peal to mark the centenary of the death of Private Arthur Ward killed in action on the 1st July 1917. Before serving his country, Arthur rang at Ranmoor. He is buried in the Orchard Dump Cemetery, Arleux-en-Gohelle and also remembered in the ringing chamber at Ranmoor. Rung on the front six. |
