The quarter peal of Grandsire Triples rung for evensong at St. John's, Ranmoor, Sheffield, on Sunday, 26th September, was notable because the band was made up of four fathers and their four sons, all members of the Sunday Service band at St. John's. The quarter-peal was also a farewell compliment to Nick Harrison, who is leaving to take up an appointment in Egypt.
