The quarter at Ranmoor was rung on practice night. As we were only seven it was suggested that we rang a touch of Minor with a cover. Needless to say, the “touch” became a very good quarter of Plain Bob with two first attempts in it (father and son — Ron and Nick Harrison), so we were rather pleased. I’m hoping in the near future we shall manage a quarter or two of Royal — we have enough of our own band now (when they all turn out!) — and perhaps a peal before the year is out. We shall have to wait and see! — writes Colin Banton, and we hope his aspirations are successful. |
